I’ll teach you the 10 basics you’ll need to get your new square foot garden going. This is a combination tutorial/workshop. All activities are done outside so be sure to bring warmer clothing if that would make you more comfortable. I’ll take some extra time on the “how to” of composting, along with simple techniques to protect your gardens for the cooler spring weather. Please bring a pair of gloves as this is an active workshop. This class includes a free bag of fall leaves to get you off and running on the start of your new compost pile. It’s a lot of work to prepare for these so I will need a minimum of folks to run it. Please leave your contact information in case I have to cancel class because of bad weather or because of lack of participants. It’s always one thing to read about square foot gardening in a book. It’s something entirely different when you see it really being done. You won’t be disappointed.
