I do give lessons for groups of that size-I do it all the time. Send me your contact information on the site and I’ll give you a buzz as soon as I can meatball. Great name.
I grow corn but only in a couple of squares this year. The other place I’m growing it is in a large container with a special new variety from Burpees especially made for containers called “On deck.” It’s an SH2 hybrid that is supersweet. It just came up yesterday am I’m anxious to see how it turns out. They claim 2 or 3 ears of corn per stalk…we’ll see
Hi Jim, just came across your website. Very nicely done! I manufacture and sell vinyl raised-bed planter boxes for those that are looking for a planter that is a little more decorative and that can match thier vinyl fence. Would love to chat sometime to show you what we manufacture. I will be at the Salt Lake Tribune Home and Garden show in March if you happen to be in the neighborhood.
Best Regards, Stephen
Stephen, thanks for the visit. I’m not planning on attending the home and garden show at this point. I think they ask for too much money. Is there really a market for decorative raised garden boxes? I’ve intentionally stayed away from selling anything with SFGing, including selling the books. That’s probably a money maker but I don’t do it. I don’t want to carry inventor and my interest lies with only teaching people how to do the SFG system. Tell me more of what you do, how long you’ve been doing it, a website that I can visit, and anything else that might be of interest. I’m a little surprised by the number of visits to my site this early in the season. It’s about 2 months ahead of last year’s pace. Give me buzz…Jim
I just found your site. Wow! Those are fantastic looking garden boxes you’ve got. I wish I had one of those smaller ones that are off the ground. What is holding the soil on the bottom for the raised boxes?
Hi Jim,
Lisa Rodgers just shared this site with all of us. Your are awesome!! Growing a few things in my back yard, tomatoes and peppers and a few herbs. Live in Arizona now.
Keep up the yummy work…………….kath
